An experienced public relations, social media and marketing professional, Abby has spent six years servicing clients in the hospitality industry. As a Senior Manager for Know Public Relations, she oversees a diverse mix of acclaimed chefs and restaurateurs, bar personalities and culinary artisans, and specializes in telling compelling, on-message stories that educate both media and consumers about her clients’ backgrounds, philosophies and business approaches.
Prior to joining Know PR, Abby was a leading member of the Restaurant, Travel & Hospitality practice at Boston/New York-based firm marlo marketing. She was instrumental in spearheading local and national media relations, as well as developing strategic marketing, PR and social media initiatives for independent fine dining establishments and award-winning craft cocktail bars, including Clio and Uni from Chef Ken Oringer, Eastern Standard, The Hawthorne and Yvonne’s. Abby’s fastidious attention to detail and passion for the written word has earned her significant placements in such high-level media outlets as Food & Wine, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Fast Company.
Abby holds a Master of Science in Public Relations from Boston University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism/Mass Communications from Washington & Lee University.
